TEACH US TO PRAY by Oduyoye Joshua

BY ODUYOYE JOSHUA I love this verse from Luke 5:16 because it shows that just like you and me, Jesus needed a break from the demands of his busy life to recharge his batteries and spend time with his Heavenly Father. The life of Christ is intended to give us examples we can follow and learn from. So, even though he was God incarnate, Jesus didn’t draw on his superpowers as the Son of God when it came to facing life’s challenges. Instead, when he was exhausted or burdened or in need of spiritual refreshment, he would “slip away” to pray — plugging into the power, perception, and purpose that can only be found in God’s presence. But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.
—Luke 5:16, AMP
Prayer is one of the most powerful weapons God has given us, I believe it has never been more important for God’s people to be on our knees. But knowing how to pray is not always easy. Jesus’ disciples felt the same confusion. They were familiar with the oft-repeated prayers of the Torah. But Jesus prayed with a kind of authority and power they had never seen before — as though God was listening! So when they came to Jesus, as told in Matthew 6, they didn’t say, “Teach us another prayer.” They said, “Lord, teach us to pray.”
The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) is Christ’s response. It is a beautiful prayer and one that every Christian should hide in their heart —But elegant as the words are, I do not believe Jesus intended it to become another ritualistic prayer. Rather, it was to be an example of how to pray.
This, then, is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’

Here are Ten keys that have helped me develop a more powerful prayer life. I hope they will encourage you to make ecery season of your life a season of effective prayer. 1; KNOW WHO YOU ARE SPEAKING WITH ;
Prayer is a conversation with God, and every conversation begins by addressing the person to whom you are speaking by name. Jesus begins with “Our Father in heaven.” He focuses on a distinct person — the Heavenly Father with whom he has a personal relationship. We share the same right to call God “Father,” and there are times when we need to talk with our Abba Father, Daddy God. But God is three distinct persons in One: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
I find it helpful in my prayer times to focus on which of the Holy Trinity I need to talk to. Often I talk to Jesus, the friend who is closer than a brother and the Savior of my soul. Other times I cry out to the Holy Spirit, who fills and empowers me to do the tasks Father God has called me to do. Having a distinct sense of who I am speaking to helps me formulate what I want to say and how I want to say it. 2; GIVE HIM THANKS
A heartfelt thank you is always a great conversation starter. Like any parent, God loves to see that we have grateful hearts. But more importantly, as we take the time to praise God for all He has done in the past — the answered prayers, the impossible situations overcome, the healings and grace — our faith to believe for even greater answers to prayer grows stronger and more confident. Praise opens the gates of heaven and should always be part of our alone time with God.my conclusion is praise catches his attentions ,worship touches his heart …. 3; REQUEST ONLY FOR HIS WILL
The Lord’s Prayer is not the only place where Jesus role-modeled a heart of obedience and submission to the will of God over his own desires and needs. In the Garden of Gethsemane, only hours before Jesus’ crucifixion, he would once again pray, “not my will, but yours be done.” In a world where right and wrong are frequently confused and the future is so uncertain, it can be hard to know how to pray or what to ask for when difficult circumstances arise. But the one thing we can know with absolute certainty is that God’s plan for those who love him is good, and the safest place we can be is in the center of his divine will. 4: SAY WHAT YOU WANT (BUT EXPECT WHAT YOU NEED)
In Jesus’ time, bread was a staple — one of the most basic needs of life — and he did not hesitate to ask God to provide it. But we often hesitate to bother God with the little things we need, thinking he shouldn’t be bothered. And when the big problems come, we try everything we can to solve the problem before we think to pray. The Bible says, “You do not have because you do not ask God.” So never hesitate to ask God for what you need in this year . Your Father in heaven delights to give you good gifts. 5; ASK FOR FORGIVENESS
James 5:16 reminds us that if we want our prayers to be heard, our hearts need to be right with God and with one another. If you feel your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling, take some time to check your heart.
6; HAVE A CLEAR CONCIENCE ; ITs important that before or during our prayers we should keep a polarasa of our heart towards God an Man , it aids our links with the supernatural ,I could remember ,I was not happy with an organization and it so affected me that I became unhappy with personalities involved ,and shortly afterwards I listened to a message that demanded internalizing with instances prayer to God ,but each time I looked up to God ,the guilt of being unhappy with a fellow human gloss over my faith power and weakens my supernatural strength, this happens until I settled that first ,with God , only then did I got connected to heaven , and new wine got out or that rock…began praying and singing in the spirit …so its important you have a cleared conscience .
7; PRAY FOR GRACE ; Pray for grace to overcome temptation and trials of life , Jesus christ Said that in this world we will have tribulations but in him we will have peace ,so we need to pray for grace to avid in his perfect peace and deliverance from the evil one
There is power in agreement when we pray in Jesus’ name. When I have an urgent need to take before the throne of God, I will often call a friend to pray with me. If you don’t already have one, make finding a trusted prayer partner one of your goals at this time
claim scripture of promise is a basic way to pray the word ,and you can be sure you are in his perfect will “The Word of God has power and is our great spiritual weapon,”
Jesus did the same when he was tempted by Satan in the wilderness (see Luke 4:1-12). He was the Son of God, but he did not use his divine authority. Instead, he used the authority of the Scriptures.
The most important key to a vibrant prayer life is to understand our spiritual authority in Christ as explained in the Scriptures. The only way to do that is to become intimately familiar with the Bible. Even a few minutes a day in the Word of God will add strength and authority to your prayers as you journey along this year …..

By Oduyoye Joshua
“But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith. Pray in the Holy Spirit.(JUDE 20).
Praying in the Spirit activates the grace of God to pray perfect prayers in any situation. These prayers go beyond our own agendas and beyond our rational understanding. When we pray in the Spirit, divine insight enlightens our hearts so we can hit the mark when we pray.
Praying in the Spirit with Eager Expectation
The book of Jude has only one chapter, but it is full of revelation and divine insight about praying in the Spirit:
“But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith. Pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God while you are waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, which leads to eternal life” (Jude 20-21).
The wording catches my attention: “waiting anxiously.” That does not contradict the Scriptures about casting your anxieties upon the Lord (see 1 Pet. 5:7. See also Phil. 4:6; Matt. 6:25-34).
“Waiting anxiously” means waiting with expectation, hardly being able to contain your eagerness. Praying in the Spirit releases a supernatural atmosphere and enables you to walk continuously in the love of God.
Another interesting fact about this passage is that it says you are supposed to build yourself up. You cannot wait for others to do so, and you cannot wait for God to make it happen. It’s the you in You that makes this aspect of building happen,
Every one of us ebbs in our faith, but we can also grow in it. Even when we feel too low to figure out how to pray, we can pray in the Spirit.THE HELP OF THE SPIRIT ;

The Spirit Himself will always help us:

“Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses, for we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God” (Rom. 8:26-27).

It is true. We do not know how to pray as we should. We need fresh manna. We need to drop our agendas in favor of the Lord’s. If we want to know what is on His heart, one of the easiest ways to open the way is to pray in the Spirit.
Peace insight through tongues in the spirit                            The gift of tongues brings rest for the weary and refreshing peace. Indeed, "For with stammering lips and foreign tongue He will speak to this people" (Isa. 28:11). And His unsurpassed peace quiets our spirits, which creates a perfect incubation environment for more revelation.

Divine Knowledge can be experienced through the spirit
One of the Functions of the Holy Spirit is to TEACH US AND BRING ALL THINGS TO OUR REMEMBRANCE ; There are times we have experienced and seen with our spiritual eyes the power of God ,yet issues arrive our spiritual door steps that could get us into some kind of rat race ; the holy Spirit gets us calm by reminding us on how we got our first love, conviction ,and how no other thing gave us Joy that could replace Christ saving Grace ,its as we pray in the spirit that we can understand the power of the word spoken by the one who created things seen and un seen . Let’s seek divine insight purposefully by praying in the Spirit.
Let the Hand of God Come upon You
I know your friends, parent , siblings , distance relation must have giving you an hand shake before , or a pool full of embrace before , there is a way you feel when this happens , you could feel an impact of love recorded in your conscious mind and you could relate with it ; in the same vain and more God could rest his hand upon you in such a manna that remain under a specific influence of supernatural burden for what is on his heart , he can so embrace you that you get drunk with the reality of his heart . In Hebrew there is a word for “hand” that refers to the burden of the Lord: Massa. This word refers specifically to the way the Lord’s presence comes upon you and imparts something so that even when His hand lifts, the burden remains. This is how prophetic intercession works—divine insight comes to inform powerful prayers effected by the Spirit
Burden of prayer                    Here is what Apostle James wrote about the burden of prayer in his epistle:

“Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses, for we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words. He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God” (James 5:16-18).
Never put limits on what God can do, even through an ordinary person like you! Praying in the Spirit is an indispensable part of the Christian life that has, sometimes, generated “more heat than light.” Opinions admittedly vary about the exact meaning of praying in the Spirit. There are assorted theological claims about how to “achieve” prayer in the Spirit as if the admonition is a skill to be acquired. It is not. It is a gift to be received, a life to be lived, ALL BY FAITH. its good I also add that “the believer prays in the Spirit even in tongues
The Scriptures are clear: Praying in the Holy Spirit is approaching the throne of grace in humble and devout intercession and supplication entirely on God’s terms, not ours. Its good you know that “No human can pray without divine help.” Prayer with divine help is praying in the Spirit.
What does the scripture says
“No human can pray without divine help” seems to be a saying far too simple. We want more. We want to know what we must do to encourage the experience. Our contributing to the work of the Holy Spirit is as preposterous as presuming that praying in the Holy Spirit is an ecstatic experience to be cultivated. However, this phenomenon of “God can do it, but I must help Him along” is a wrong-headed but universal impulse of humanity to deal with God as we would with a mortal king. “I will do this, and so you will do that.” Such an error reveals, not necessarily an evil intent (haven’t we all thought that way at one time or another?), but rather a sad misunderstanding of God’s grace in Christ. “Praying in the Spirit” is altogether a divine activity that one appropriates through faith the in Jesus Christ and in His finished work on the cross. Simple? Yes, and infinitely glorious. It’s not a mathematical articulation or conjures of words forced by our impure intellect but that which is inspired by the help of the holy Spirit to reach out to the Father,
Praying in the Holy Spirit is a simple, good, sturdy doctrine and any Christian Spiritual leader who will not teach with his heart this experience which Jesus Christ considered important in ACT 1; 7-8 . But it is simply amazing.
That Old Testament believer
There are numerous passages in both the Old Testament and the New addressing prayers made in the power of the Spirit one such example concerning the old is Hannah in 1 Samuel 1 :“Her desires were too intense for articulation. She poured out her soul in prayer before the Lord.” Insuperable natural difficulties were in the way, but she “multiplied her praying,” as the passage means, till her God-lightened heart and her bright face recorded the answer to her prayers, and Samuel was hers by a conscious faith and a nation was restored by faith.(praying in the spirit Give birth to more Significant spiritual structures). Hannah’s tears were like saltwater sacraments that spoke of a deep, unseen desire. This longing was lifted to God with God’s help. She was praying in God’s power, not her own. While there is no specific wording, “praying in the Spirit,” the narrative clearly demonstrates that both Hannah and her son were believers who prayed with “divine help.” This is praying in the Spirit.
New Testament full light of the gospel
The New Testament is characterized, not only by narrative but “didactic” literature. That is, the New Testament writers, particularly the Lord Jesus and His Apostles, speak or write in order to teach: to communicate God’s revealed truth to humankind. Within this primary genre in the New Testament, we can better isolate and examine exact teaching on the subject of praying in the Holy Spirit. Here are but a few selections that teach “prayer with divine help.” “But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit” (Jude 1:20 ). “Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:18 ).
“Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God” ( Romans 8:26-27 ). Only in this can we have an effective walk with God from the stand point of Galatians 5;16-17…which is .“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do” ( Galatians 5:,17 ESV).
The body of Christ must be willing to teach this to believers in Christ it’s a blissfull experience “What am I to do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will pray with my mind also; I will sing praise with my spirit, but I will sing with my mind also” (1 Corinthians 14:15 ).
We say again: these are but samples of the doctrine of praying in the Spirit. Each glorious passage is worthy of its own careful consideration. The passages are mysterious only in the sense that all truth about the grace and condescending love of God is incomprehensible to mere mortals, but the teaching therein is plain and accessible. God bless the heart reading this .Amen ….. Father I pray for every one reading this that your light will shine on ther heart to be saved and experience your spirit fullness in Jesus name . Amen .

Part 4 (Final)
The “ARK-tivation” For CONQUEST

I must start as I bring this phase of the Prophetic series to its close, by stating the fact that we cannot be bearers of God’s ARK inside us without making measurable impacts outside all around us. The power to make impact for God in the public sphere is derived from the ARK that remains intact in the personal inner space, in private…The Secret Place of the Most High.

ARTiculation or ARKtivation?

Under the Levitical order, the Levites who were appointed, separated and anointed to bear the Ark of God’s covenant were not known by the “ARTiculation” of ritualistic routine roles and cover-up BARKINGS. They carried the “ARKtivation” of God’s releases and BACKINGS to transmit transgenerational dimensional Blessings through the GLORY of their dispensation.

Whenever the Ark of God migrates and invades any space, it displaces whatever and whoever has been wrongly placed to replace God there. Without doubt, the Ark of God causes scattering of the gatherings of His enemies. (Num. 10:35) And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, “Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.”
The ARK can be taken and transferred from place to place. History relates the cases of enemies who for Israel’s spiritual slackness and lapse into sinfulness occasioned the capture of God’s Ark.

TEMPLE ARKlessness and Religious Recklessness

By the time of Jesus here on earth, the Temple worship in Jerusalem had been reduced to dead formality, the Holy of Holies lacked the ARK, since the Babylonians destroyed the Temple built by Solomon. The second Temple built by the coordination of Zerubbabel under the official order of the gentile king Cyrus was the existing one when Jesus walked in Israel. Among other things in which it was nothing in comparison with the first, that present Temple lacked the ARK of the Covenant…It was ARKless!
There is clear emptiness and wastefulnrss whenever the Temple becomes ARKless – as Worship becomes POINTless because it has become POWERless, purposeless and PROFITless. And because God’s active presence is by the Ark’s absence lost, service becomes ritualistic and the realistic essence of coming to God’s presence – with life, light and liberty that bring fullness of Joy and eternal pleasure become conspicuously non-existent.
Under such circumstances of ARKlessness, worshippers can freely manifest HEARTlessness, recklessness and wickedness while claiming commitment to RIGHTeousness and HOLY-ness! This was why the House of God in Christ’s day became the place for buying and selling and merchandizing – as we are having today!
This sort of institutionalised filthiness in the holy place cannot be confronted with feebleness of will, and quietness of meekness of spirit. Purging requires FIRE in the order of Christ’s passionate purging practice with unusual fiery anger. We sure need no less today. The ARK of God transmits purging fire of judgment against sin and evil in the Temple of God.
Thus, as the Ultimate ARK of God, Jesus entered into that ARKless Temple unexpected, and uninvited by the corrupt leadership to deal with the systemic traditional evil order of spiritual disorder that has become institutionalised in the House of God. (Matt. 21:12,13; Malachi 3:1,2)

Shift from PRAYER to Sit in PLUNDER!

What do we expect when satanic manipulation works so well to impose prevention and prescription of prayer in the House of God? If we are not Praying in the house of God, we are certainly abusing divine privilege for that sacred space and power platform. All else we will keep doing simply amount to mere playing that promotes plundering of souls. “WHENEVER SPIRIT-INSPIRED INTENSE PRAYER IS NOT GOING ON IN THE HOUSE OF GOD, WE FULLY LICENSE ROBBERS TO FREELY OPERATE…” the most unfortunate reality is that many of the robbers in God’s house are so-called MINISTERS who are operating in pretense under satanic patent and power to steal, kill and destroy God’s precious heritage!

The day Jesus, the ARK of God entered into the ARKless Temple in Jerusalem, evil people lost their power, lost their practice, lost their place, lost their profit and lost their peace…
For the Church, we cry: “Even so, Come Lord Jesus”
Hear the Lord, Church…
All the robbers disguised as believers – Betrayer Brothers and Sinister Sisters – fake members and workers and leaders – and all those active around the Altar as big-titled ministers with defective, seductive and destructive spirits… enemies of God and of His Glory shall have the Lord, the Ark rising against them. They shall Scatter and Scamper and be swept into Shattered states under the Fire of Christ’s wrath!!!
As an individual, when Jesus as the Ultimate Revelation of God’s Ark enters the self-surrendere
d, Spirit-sanctified space inside you, He will displace all illegal occupants and destroy all robbers that have been stealing God’s Glory in the secret from your life. The abomination that causes desolation that had been set up in that holy place shall be swept away by God’s holy Fire!

The ARK of God is God’s mobile gadget for Glory manifestation with power demonstration for the destruction of demonic missions and manifestations.
As said earlier, under circumstances of the Slackness of God’s people, the Ark can be captured. But the Captors only did so to their own damnation. God allowed them to keep it to themselves, but to kill them! The Ark of God keeps supporters of God and kills His opposers.
The Ark of God’s Glory on the move must always cause agony for the enemy. That explains why devils and devil-driven people were always agitated and devastated whenever and wherever Jesus showed up. (Matt.8:28,29) He is still thesame today, and if Jesus truly shows up in our Churches, demonised souls who sit piously in our pews, who are only being sermonised in weekly meetings and taught sound doctrines will have the demons in them traumatised and exorcised. (Mark 1:23-27). We can never teach doctrines effectively if the demonised in the Temple are not delivered from the devils that debar them from profiting through our diligent delivery.
Well ARTiculated good doctrines can neither enter into, nor alter for good, the hearers, if the dimension of ARKtivated divine power to destroy demonic dominion is not demonstrable.
This was the practical pattern of Jesus the ARK of God, who went about doing good (preaching, teaching, healing) & delivering the oppressed. Mark 1:27 – And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
This is thesame impact to be expected when a believer and minister becomes a Glory-carrier ARK of God.
Acts 8:5 – Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. (6) And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. (7) For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. (8) And there was great joy in that city.
When you truly become a carrier of God’s Glory, you will iritate the demons in some Church folks. How we need more moving saintly Arks to terminate the tormentors’ term in the Church and in every space in Society today!

ARISE, ARK of God…

Therefore now,
I DECLARE AND DECREE from the Lord that as you open the gates of your heart and life for the King of Glory to come (suddenly) into His Temple… every strange god in your inner space shall be duly debased, disgraced and erased.
Because the Ark of God has the capacity to KEEP the Righteous and KILL the Riotous, I declare and decree on the Biblical basis of 1 Samuel 5:1-10 (please Read):
That Dagon in your private space must no longer try to cohabit with the Lord and Owner of that Temple – therefore I command that usurper – fall…over and over and over again until you are broken and shattered into irreconcilable, irreparable pieces.
No one ever collided with the Ark and survived it. Any collision of evil enemies with your life shall lead to their condemnation and consumption.
All evil people who peep into your life to seek to steal the secret of your divine content and competence shall be slain as God did the Philistines. God will smite the secret parts of the enemies of His glory in your life, even as He did the Ashdodites.
(3) CONFUSION is visiting the coalition camp of your enemies as your life becomes ARKtivated now and onward to be untouchable and unstoppable!

The Maker and Owner of Heaven and Earth is coming down in this season to take His HABITation in His own Sanctified and FORTIFIED spaces by Himself, and for Himself.
God is presently visiting and revisiting, and filling and refilling His dedicated spaces with graces, gifts and glories
As your spirit becomes ARKtivated and you thereby become the ARK of God, be certain that anywhere you go from today:

The enemies of God shall all be CORNERED AND SCATTERED

The strategies of the ungodly shall be CONQUERED AND SHATTERED

The affinitues of satanic covenants shall be SUNDERED

And unto God’s Eternal Kingdom shall all be SURRENDERED…

Remain ARKtivated.
Let no devil ever stop your prophetic journey of Divine Dimensions into Destiny…for this is more than a human programme. It’s a heavenly package! Do your part to keep your SPARK. For those who did not START you must never STOP you…
Boundless Blessings.

You might not be heading the same destination

I went to GT Bank hall yesterday, as I was about entering the hall, a lady ran ahead of me and pushed me away so she could quickly join the long queue before I will get to the queue.

I did not say anything, she thought I will queue up behind her but I was actually not there to withdraw, I went to deposit.

So I walked to the deposit teller and I was the only one there. No single person on the queue.
When I finished depositing, I was about leaving the hall, when this lady came from the queue and apologized to me for pushing me away from the line.

With “sorry smile on her face”she said: I am very sorry dear for pushing you away, I thought you were coming to the queue to withdraw…………..
I smiled and told her not to bother that it’s not a big deal.

Friends believe me I learned a big lesson from that incident.

Who are you ‘pushing’ away and trying to outrun in the race of destiny, relationship, business, ministry, career, marriage, political position or appointment, etc?

How many People have you pushed aside, pushed away or pushed down in this platform or this life?

Are you among those that destroy people through pushing?
By slandering them, hindering their progress, blocking their promotion, lying, backstabbing, condemning them before their helpers, backbiting, discriminate, and spoiling their good names either through lies or rumor all in a bid to ‘get there’ before them.
I challenge you today to take it easy because you might not be going to the same destination.

Unknown to you the path may look alike but your destinations are different.

It might surprise you later that, with all the pushing away you are doing, or planning to do, they may still leave you on the ‘queue’ of destiny and go ahead of you.

Has anyone ever pushed you away, aside, or down in your school, office, ministry, business, marriage, church, political platform, social media?

Are they trying to push you away or have they pushed you away already so that they can get ahead of you?
Don’t worry, God will use your case to prove to them that, “it is not of him who runs, but of the Lord that shows mercy. He will show you mercy and give you an overtaking speed and those who are pushing you here and there will later come and tell you they are sorry.

Beloved friends;
Please push nobody! because you might not be heading to the same destination

March Edition 2019
Theme ; we must tarry (introduction into the present need )
Luke 24; 49 “and behold I send the promise of my father to you ;but tarry in the city of Jerusalem ,until ye be endued with the power from on high”

Father I know for real that you have opened up on the reality and need for the present moment and according to your great will we gather together from every corner of the earth to understand your mind to day ,Lord I pray that as many that will have access to this timely message and either in audio or in books forms , you will crash misunderstanding and give curse them to understand even beyond what we see in this place today ,thank you Father because I know Spiritual eyes , Spiritual and natural understandings are opened , heart restructured to the invading of the Holy ghost ; for in Jesus name I pray Amen .
God has being so faithful that in every generation he has not and will not get tired of raising men with the vision, mission and revelation of His heart cry ,and that why its important that believers become alert today concerning the promises of the father , Jesus Christ was about departing from the immediate and first disciples and at once knew it will be incorrect not to remind them of the promises of the father which will be delivered to them by him or no other person ; but for the disciple they needed to learn something the church today is willing to neglect ,; that is the pain of tarrying that leads to the Gain of carrying ; its so unfortunate that a a lot of people knows that the principles is “if you don’t tarry , you can not carry ” yet they are so carried away by many other things that they waist precious moments of fellowship for non essentials …..Tarry.. Tarry … Tarry … that the Key to Carry .. Carry … And Carry …. The more you tarry , the more you Carry … “wait on the lord I say , Wait on the Lord.. that what gets you socked and dripping ….get socked today in the fire and drip the promises everywhere you Go . Amen .Its my heart desire to see people who will enjoy fellowship with the father through prayer for the next seven hours , 14hours , 28hours , and feel in them that they had just started , ho how I love to be in his presence …. Tarry , tarry , tarry and tarry ..that’s the way to receive .
I know for real that some key event must be burning now in the mind of some burden bearing believer ,but to some others and to all I must say some key thing that will drive you by the help of the trinity to kneel for hours and feel uninjured ,Luke 24; 49 “and behold I send the promise of my father to you ;but tarry in the city of Jerusalem ,until ye be endued with the power from on high” at this stage you need to know that Jesus knew that the disciples will not be able to live their Christian experience to the fullest without the fulfilment of the promise of the Father….and that why we as believers must understand and teach our generation and the ounces to come the value of this promise ; the significant is beyond comprehension and endless as believers engage the “TARRY YE POWER” …
Lets look into a couple of thing the promise of the father is ,but before then , I had like to make you who are listening to the audio message or reading this understand that the promise of the father is His Spirit with and in men after Jesus will not physically be with them, and that The Spirit of God with and in men is not just an influence or a from of wind effect as many misunderstood Him to be ,He is a being ,the third person in Gods Head ; He is an Helper,a wind is not, he is a comforter of the soul not just the body ,the wind can not comfort any soul, neither can any influence help for over time they will fade away,He is the Promise that brings the fullness of other promise contained in the Scripture of truth , its also good we understand it this way, that anything of eternal value in this life and in eternity comes through the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. If we want to follow Jesus and see that we need help to do so, God gives us His Holy Spirit. We need simply to ask for it, and be obedient. (Luke 11:9-13; Acts 5:32) Once we become disciples and have received the Holy Spirit, He begins a work in us, to transform us into the image of Christ. (Romans 8:29) Disciples set their minds on the things of the Spirit, and they will be led into life and peace.
1; The Holy Spirit gives power
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and all of Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8.
What is this power from the Holy Spirit for? Paul testified that it was his “earnest expectation and hope” that by life or death Jesus would be magnified in his body. (Philippians 1:20) What greater task does the Holy Spirit have than to empower His disciples to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus , and that His life would be manifested as we bear in our bodies the ? (2 Corinthians 4:10-11) We bear witness to Jesus Christ in this way. We absolutely cannot do this in our own strength, only through the power the Holy Spirit gives us.
Jesus opened a new and living way through His , through the Eternal Spirit, and offered Himself without spot to God, so that we too could serve the living God in those works that God intended for us. ( Hebrews 9:14; Hebrews 10:20) The Holy Spirit will lead and empower us in a development to learn obedience to the Word of God in our sufferings, and be led to perfection, just as Jesus was. ( Hebrews 5:7-9)
Jesus said that His Father is glorified when His disciples bear much fruit. Those who bear fruit will get a further training so that they bear more fruit. ( John 15:2, 8) This is the process of sanctification through the Holy Spirit, which leads us to partake of Jesus’ glory (His virtues). ( 2 Thessalonians 2:14) The power of the Holy Spirit strengthens our will to endure in this process so that we do not lose heart, but can stand firm until the end! But you need Tarry to received the revelation for your spirit man having the understanding that He gives power..Tarry
2; The Holy Spirit is the Helper
Jesus called the Holy Spirit the Helper. (John 15:26) The Helper will guide us into all the truth, convicting us of , of righteousness, and judgement. ( John 16:8-15) We will get to see ourselves, what dwells in our flesh, through the Spirit in the light of God’s Word.
The Holy Spirit gives us power for victory over conscious sin. It is written, if we walk in the Spirit, we will not fulfill the
. ( Galatians 5:16) If we live in the Spirit and , we won’t become high-minded, provoking and envying one another. ( Galatians 5:25-26) Think of the that grows out of this , as the fruits of the Spirit grow in us more and more! ,It takes a tarrying man or woman to mortify the contrary

3; The Holy Spirit is our intercessor
Another task of the Holy Spirit is that of an intercessor. (Romans 8:26) He will take what is from Jesus and declare it to us. (John 16:13-15) We don’t know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit does. He leads us into many various situations in our daily life which will cause our flesh to react. These situations bring to light the sin in our flesh. We react in different ways, whether by word or action. As we think about what we’ve said or done, we get to see that sin was present. It wasn’t the virtues that came forth, but our human nature. We get to see that we did what we hated, just as Paul saw in Romans 7:18-25.
These involuntary reactions from the flesh that we get light over are referred to as the “deeds of the body,” and can take the form of thoughts, words and even actions. There is no condemnation for these, because we didn’t consciously agree to sin . Yet, through the Spirit, we can still overcome these after they have come out of our bodies by loving and acknowledging the truth about what happened, and consciously choosing to disagree with them and hate them. “For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you the deeds of the body, you will live.” ( Romans 8:13) When the Spirit is my guide and strength, then I continue to and can overcome in the future
before it happens again.but understand that it takes celebrate action to tarry before this can be activated in our lives
4; The Holy Spirit gives gifts
Jesus gave diversities of gifts to His disciples through the Holy Spirit; gifts of healing, prophecy, tongues and interpretation, the Word of knowledge, the Word of wisdom, working of miracles, discerning of spirits, etc. The Holy Spirit works these gifts in us for the profit of all. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11) They are used by His disciples to build and edify Christ’s
body. “… till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ .” many so called believers today are thinking that its OK and not necessary to bord them self with the radical and fiery life the Holy spirit give , they love the slow music that rings as long as am saved I’ll make it to heaven ,why the extra mill and painfully many have become so influential that they have followers that tread along the slowly and gently ,we will still get to heaven;but for me,I know there is something called fast and fiery ,because the time is short ;and not only the Devils is permitted to understand that ,I am also permitted to understand the mistery behind the shortened time ,I must burn and keep burning till I see my saviour ! And therefore by this revelation I declare that every one who listens this teaching ,read this teaching , access this teaching awake from their slumber ,by the ever burning fire of the Holy ghost ..Let it burn in the heart of members of religious begin to Identify truth of the saving power of Jesus ,start walking by the truth, start running with the Truth, I command by the authority in the name of Jesus ,leader begin to have revelation that will keep you awake all through the night till you realise that this is the era of the Holy Ghost in the. Church. And for us who understand we must tarry . I must say that in my little experience in leadership ,a leader can have a great vision and mission, but if the supporting leaders ,or members don’t see it the way He sees it ,it might be impossible or narrowly possible to carry out that vision…Yes ,I see you get it now ,so it is not enough that you have you need to get others to see this with you so they can run too, (write it upon tables of Stone…… That he that readeth may also run ) this can’t be done without tarrying, you must ,I must ,we must altogether tarry ….
Ephesians 4:12-13.
Paul exhorted to desire the best gifts but spoke about a more excellent way. He went on to describe the qualities of love, and to say that without them, we are nothing. “Love suffers long, and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up, does not behave rudely, does not seek its own; is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Let us measure ourselves against these divine qualities, and let the Holy Spirit work with us, that we can come to them in truth.
“… to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the , that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height – to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:16-19.
An amazing calling, an amazing glory, through the work of the Holy Spirit. Let us humble ourselves deeply under God’s mighty hand, through the leading of His Spirit, so grace comes over us, so that we actually come to this fullness. So let us do as Paul exhorted Timothy, meditate on these things, (if we don’t totally consecrate our heart to the lord ,we cannot successes fully meditate on divinely impacted truth) give ourselves entirely to them,(by getting socked with the fire of the word and prayers ,that’s when) our progress may be evident to all. ( 1 Timothy 4:15). Believers must tarry in Gods presence
I know we are hungry and ready to pray now ,let’s Just pick our space and Tarry before God till he settles that Hunger……

Romans 12:1-3 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2; And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3; For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

A renewed man acts upon new principles, by new rules, with new ends, and in new company. The believer is created anew; his heart is not merely set right, but a new heart is given him. He is the workmanship of God, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. Though the same as a man, he is changed in his character and conduct. These words must and do mean more than an outward reformation. The man who formerly saw no beauty in the Saviour that he should desire him, now loves him above all things. The heart of the unregenerate is filled with enmity against God, and God is justly offended with him. Yet there may be reconciliation. Our offended God has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ. By the inspiration of God, the Scriptures were written, which are the word of reconciliation; showing that peace has been made by the cross, and how we may be interested therein. Though God cannot lose by the quarrel, nor gain by the peace, yet he beseeches sinners to lay aside their enmity, and accept the salvation he offers. Christ knew no sin. He was made Sin; not a sinner, but Sin, a Sin-offering, a Sacrifice for sin. The end and design of all this was, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him, might be justified freely by the grace of God through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. Can any lose, labour, or suffer too much for Him, who gave his beloved Son to be the Sacrifice for their sins, that they might be made the righteousness of God in him?…….
