TOPIC : TRUSTING GOD EVEN WHEN EVERYTHING IS FAILING

TEXT: 1 Chronicles 4:9-10
And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

It’s is important to note that has humans, there are many-things that may seem to work against us in this world. From the Bible reference above we find a man called Jabez who was named sorrow by his own mother. This tell us how difficult and unfavourable his condition and that of his family is…..

But we must learn a very important virtue from the life Jabez which is the Trusting in God
I pray for someone in the house today, that has you put your trust in God , he will not fail you .In Jesus Name

Permit me to emphasis that Jabez despite the conditions of his immediate environment he had a complete trust in the God that cannot fail .As we move on we need to make something’s clear

1: WHAT IT MEANS TO TRUST IN GOD;

To trust in God is to put our Confidence in or reliance on Gods ability and capacity to help in time of need .It also means Dependence upon God to sort our present and future issues; in this our hope is kept alive.

2: EXAMPLE OF PEOPLE WHO WENT THROUGHT FAILING TIMES BUT KEEPT THEIR TRUST IN GOD

JOB;

Perhaps no Bible character has suffered more than Job. Job had everything — a good family, a good name and plenty of wealth. But then Satan went to God and asked for permission to alter Job’s good fortune.

Then tragedy strikes and Job loses everything: his children, his wealth, his livestock, his crops, his health and even the relationship of his wife and friends. And what did Job do? Not curse God, as Satan had thought he would. Instead, he praised His name.”At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: “Naked I come from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart.

The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.” (Job 1:20-21)
The rest of the Book of Job tells us that through it all, Job struggles with his suffering, saying to God, “Does it please you to oppress me, to spurn the work of your hands, while you smile on the plans of the wicked?” (Job 10:1-4) The moral of Job’s story is: It’s okay to question God or the reasons for why something is happening, but there’s no need for us to stay there. Job eventually repents and is humbled before God.

DAVID;

David is a Bible character who is no stranger to hard times. He was anointed king of Israel and chosen by God, and yet he was also tormented by the jealous King Saul, who chased David for many years trying to kill him. The Bible tells us that David grew increasingly frustrated from his constant running and hiding, living in caves and surviving on whatever food his men could find or what those loyal to him would give. And time and time again, he had the chance to kill Saul, but he didn’t because his heart was good. Of course, we all know how the story of Saul ends. He falls on his sword to avoid capture in battle.

Many of the psalms highlight David’s cries to God and his struggles, such as Psalm 142:1-2, which says, “I cry aloud to the Lord; I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy. I pour out before him my complaint; before him I tell my trouble.” Even though King David struggled mightily with his faith, he never remained in this state for long, as he still concludes every psalm praising God and giving Him glory.

MOSES;

Moses is another Bible character who suffered several instances of hard times. He struggled to believe he could deliver his people from Egypt, and he ran into the wilderness until God appeared to him at the burning bush and called him to do exactly what he had run away from. And with God’s help, Moses successfully leads his people out of Egypt, free of bondage. It is a high point in Mosses’ life. At this time, everyone was praising God and singing songs. But then there was a slight problem: No water to drink. God was testing Moses and his people to see how they would react at having no water in their new land. The people of Israel murmured against Moses, wondering what they should drink. And what did Moses do? He turned to God for help in his struggle, and God delivered. “The Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became fit to drink.” (Exodus 15:25) Then afterwards, they came to Elim, where the Bible tells us there were 12 springs and 70 palm trees — plenty of water to go around.

PETER;

In Mark 14:26-31, Peter talks about how he would never deny Jesus. (“Even if all fall away, I will not” and “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.”) And yet, we all know the story of what happens — it occurs just as Jesus said it would. Peter denies him three times at his trial, and after he had denied Jesus the third time, “he broke down and wept” (Mark 14:72). After this, the Bible tells us that Peter thinks he is unworthy and returns to his old life as a fisherman. All of the disciples go with him.

The good news in all of this is that Peter was restored by Jesus, who is merciful, as John 21:15-25 reads.
The big takeaway from all the lessons these Bible characters learned is that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 15:26). And you, too, can find strength, comfort and guidance in the Lord during these challenging times, and many more others. Another thing I want you to realize tonight is that …………

3: YOU CAN ALSO PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD EVEN WHEN ALL THINGS ARE FAILING

4: WHAT TO DO TO KEEP YOUR TRUST IN FAILING TIMES

It does not matter what you are going through today , there is grace in times of need. You too can trust in God in trying times and failing times:

Finally

1: Don’t let the devil see your tears
2; Learn to keep quite if you are prone to saying negative about your self
3; Keep the fuel of prayers flowing
4: ensure you keep in touch with believers by consistent fellowship
5: Feed on the word of God continually and the lord will definitely turn all the failures into success.

Hallelujah!!!!

I believe at this point we have being greatly blessed…… Thank you family for having me, God bless you all

WAIT PATIENTLY: (Zion Sisters Conference Day5) : Teacher :Agbaje Ifeoluwa

Topic: WAIT PATIENTLY

Text: Isa 40: 31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, th y shall run and not be weary, and they shall work and not faint.

What does it mean to wait patiently?

It means to wait In a patient manner, with calmness or without complaint, inspire of delays, difficulties, etc. We all face situation that is y our patience on a daily basis, waiting on the LORD may be one of the most difficult aspects of human being, because human being are prone to taking matters into their hands, to follow their own systematic plan.

Yet we’re told to ” wait upon the LORD” Waiting upon the LORD reminds us that God is in control and also, waiting is God’s way of seeing if we trust Him before we move forward.

Take note :While waiting upon the LORD,we must tarry in His presence and claim the promises of God. The bible says: do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayers and supplications with Thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God. Even, while praying or tarrying in the presence of God, we must show a sign of gratitude to God in anticipation of what He’ll do.

Psalms 40:1- I waited patiently for the Lord, he inclined to me and heard my cry. While waiting, we’re to depend upon him, trust him, look unto him, count on him, and to long for him.
Note: Only those who wait upon Him will reap the rewards of this , and vice versa, those who do not will regret not waiting on him. Do not be deceived by the progress those who are not waiting on the Lord appears to be making. IT’S A DECEPTIVE ADVANCEMENT ‘WATCH‘. They may go faster, but they won’t go far. What God wants for his children is not just any kind of success but “good success” Joshua 1:8.

Let’s look at some benefits of waiting patiently upon the LORD

  • You will not be put to shame Isaiah 49:23
  • There’s no shame for those who wait upon the LORD. God himself will not allow you to be put to shame if you wait patiently on him. He will show you the path that you will follow, that will lead you to honour and glory.
  • You will be blessed Isaiah 30:18
    For the Lord is a God of justice, blessed are they all who wait for him. You can’t wait upon God and be cursed, and anyone cursing someone who is waiting patiently upon the LORD is only wasting his time because you can’t curse someone that God has blessed. ‘I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse yy.
  • You will Gain new strength: Isaiah 49; 31
    There’s no weariness or fainting for those who wait upon the LORD. During this course, they’re able to exchange their weakness for the strength of the LORD.
    4.We Grow in Faith : HEB 11:6
    When we wait upon the LORD, our faith grows and increases. Waiting upon the LORD is a faith booster, because it keeps us going back to God believing that he will answer us and in the process our faith continues to grow in God.
  • Help us live an Overcoming Christian Life: 1john 5:4
    Waiting on God helps us to continually live an Overcoming Christian Life. In waiting on God we receive more grace to overcome temptations and to easily understand the wiles of the devil. We are more spiritually conscious when we wait upon the LORD.
  • Waiting on God gives us clarity of purpose:
    Our purpose becomes clear because, the more we wait, the more things becomes clear to us. Our hearts and minds are clear to hear and receive what God will say pertaining to our lives purposes.
    Our lives are transformed, we become wiser , waiting on God helps us to do exploits.

Bible character that wait(ed) patiently upon the LORD.

JOSEPH :

He endured hardship, was punished for the sins he didn’t commit, he waited patiently, and the promises of God o er his life was fulfilled. FROM PRISON TO PALACE.

Jesus Christ :

A great example of patience, Jesus trained the disciples patiently, even before his crucification at the cross.

Job :

A man of patience, he was afflicted by the devil so as to turn away his heart from God. Despite this,he didn’t curse God, he waited patiently, and then, GOD RESTORED TO HIM IN DOUBLE FOLD OF ALL HE LOST. James 5:11, Job 42: 10.

Abraham :

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. It took a total of 25 years for the promise of God to Abraham was fulfilled. He waited patiently despite the barreness of Sarah.

THE WOMAN HAS A HOME BUILDER(Zion sisters conference ) Teacher Ebenezer Joy Eniola

THE WOMAN HAS A HOME BUILDER

Teacher: Ebenezer Joy

PROVERBS 14:1
From our topic we will be considering today there are three key words to consider

1: THE WOMAN:

who is regarded as an help meat for the man in the confines of marriage which will also means in the place of the second key word “The home.

2: THE HOME:

The home is a places where every member of the family which includes the children at the long run finds comfort admonitions and refuge from the outside world , it also a place where the children can be sure to express themselves in love and respect and this bring me to the third which has to do with “building” all this characteristic and more

3: BUILDING:

What does it means to build or take on the process of building? I like to let you know that every good builder want a desirable convenient and affordable structure and this variably means that for you to think of building your home ,you must have gotten a picture that is desirable , affordable within the grace of God concerning your life which will bring the desired conveniences for every member of the family .

We are looking at the woman as a builder. According to our passage *’a wise woman builds her home’.
As Christian woman or sister it is our responsibility to build our homes, but some of us fail in this act…. May the lord help us in Jesus name.

When we talk of building a structure, there are some material that must be in place, also in building our homes we need the following:

1: The word of God ;psalm 119:11;

Everything u need to know is in the scriptures. When the word of God is rich in us there will be no room for mistak

2:PRAYER

since prayer is taking to God the author of marriage and family life , we are expected to pray to him in every situation , the Bible encouraged that we should cast our cares upon him for he cares for us. Don’t forget to always pray concerning any situation in the home

3: The holy spirit:

The person of the holy spirit is the best counselor and guide for our family he is also the best teacher and he will always guide us into all truth ( ) …

The truth our family needs to be built firm on the rock that never fails is In the person of the holy spirit ,we can invite him to take the wills of our lives and family

4: Patience:

Patience is a very important virtue in the life of any lady or woman or any person generally, in handling issues in the family. I pray that God will give you the Grace to be patience in Jesus name.

5: Tolerance:

This is another important virtue that we need to have
Our bible should be our companion in every side but unfortunately, phones and other devices have taken over the place of reading the word and meditation and this is making our building to shake. God will have mercy on us in Jesus name We all know that Jesus Christ built his ministerial life on prayer ,therefore ,I’ll like to lay a little more emphasis on prayer because a prayer less woman is a powerless woman and she can’t build.

Prayer is the only thing u need to actualize your dreams and aspirations, for your building to stand the test of time. So many of us find ourselves in ugly situation in our homes because our wall have cracks. Every battle must be fought in place of prayers (on our knees) the lord will give us the grace to tarry with him in Jesus name (Amen).

As a good builder of home our first priority must be God, then our homes ….

As I cap up this teaching tonight remember that your must have a desired picture of what you want your home to be… There are a number of things you should look out for in deep expectations.

A GOOD HOME BUILDER SHOULD EXPECT AND PLAN TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

To have a happy home
To work in partnership with my spouse
To be a good wife to my husband
To be a good organizer
To be a good manager
To be a good administrator.

A woman that knows her worth will be in charge of her home and her duties ,not competing with her spouse ,Eph 5:25 Our husband’s are the crowns of our heads which must not be trampled on .1peter 3:6

OUR DUTIES HAS HOME BUILDERS
What are my duties has a home builder?

  • Love and care
  • Submission and obedience proverbs 31:28
  • Training of children prov.22:6 ;
    in training up the child. You must learn to do the following
  1. Make an enabling environment at home for the training, let there be peace and joy.
  2. Live an exemplary life.
  3. Let your training be based on the word of God psalm11:3
  4. Through appropriate and timely disciplines, appreciation, corrections and rebuking in love ,your children must be your best friend

IN CONCLUSION

We need to ask ourselves if we are failing in our responsibilities as home builders, which we need to trace our steps back to God for solutions and begin to work on our attitudes as home builders. God bless YOU

THE MINISTERS CALL TO A PURPOSFUL AND EDIFING MINISTRY ( Zion sisters conference day 3)Teacher Babalola Omolola .A

TOPIC ; THE MINISTERS CALL TO A PURPOSFUL AND EDIFING MINISTRY

Teacher Babalola Omolola .A

TEXT; Ephesians 4:10-13
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

WHAT IT MEANS TO EDIFY

Edification biblically means everything that has to do with being built up spiritually, When the five ministries was given in the Bible, it was meant to edify (build up) the church…This means that every form of edification in life is meant for a purpose, And the question is “what do you edify”? In other words, what exactly are you building up?

Most young ministers today don’t really have this knowledge and i.e. when God give them grace in any of the five fold ministry, they will think they are been called to build or raise a new denomination, meanwhile they are only called to build up the church even that which their present denomination is a part of ,although there could be exceptional cases where God wants you to really leave the present denomination for a special assignment, none the less its good you are sure before jumping out of your present place of Assignment .

Most of them will even end up snatching members with the use of their gift thereby causing division in the church just as we find in 1 Corinthians 1:11-13 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

So when most of them approach me there are two questions I will ask them…

. Which church (specific denomination) are you edifying?
. Is God asking you to raise a new denomination?

Because any ministry built without God’s instruction is simply built on a faulty foundation. So whenever you intend edifying, put to consideration the purpose or a structure….
Edification which also means building up goes beyond the spiritual .and to an high extent our moral correctness give people reason to evaluate the authenticity of our spiritual life and ministerial life ,so we need to grow and present the right picture on both sides of the coin to the end that God will be glorified .It also implies that you intentionally build capacity for moral correctness, because your good attitude can bring a good name to your family and people or places you represent. You will hear people say words like… ” you have destroyed the name that took me years to build “…..This means a good name is always built too. It is therefore important that the life of anyone who comes into the position of Edifying others be of good example in words , actions , reactions and more ….Some people are used to the word, ” I don’t care what people say”. That is a wrong word for a person who is to edify others.

Quickly Ill like to make mention of four important factors for a purposeful and profitable edifying Ministry

FOUR FACTORS FOR A PURPOSEFUL AND PROFITABLE EDIFYING MINISTRY

Just before I point at those factors for a purposeful and profitable edifying ministry it is important that we realized that when Judas was to be replaced, people of good report were sorted for and then Mathias fell into this condition of having good report .

If Mathias had lived a careless life, he wouldn’t have been selected not to talk of been elected. Whenever you’re in the position to edify you have to conduct yourself well to be a good representation of Christ Jesus. An edifier has a master (Jesus Christ). So whatever you do don’t bring shame to the name of Jesus

The life of an edifier is sacrificial in nature, you don’t live for yourself alone, you also live for others because at the end of the day, it is not just about you but it is all about the people you are edifying.

The four factors are:

  1. HUMILITY…
    Whatsoever position or gift you have in life is not an avenue to boast or compete for higher position. It is a privilege because even a stone raised by Christ can do better. And there are a lot of gifted people out there that can do better. So maintain humility so as not to be replaced because God hates the proud.
  2. WILLINGNESS AND AVAILABILITY TO SERVE.
    Acts 12:25 And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.Paul’s epistle to the corint church in 1 Corinthians 16:15 also state that I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)An edifier no longer live for him /herself , he now live for Christ and if he is living for Christ, it means he is living for the people of God (church) which means he is living a sacrificial live, ready to sacrifice his time, money, strength and comfort just to make sure the people are OK.
  3. MUST STUDY.
    There are two things the Bible recommend that we study to do
    I.TO BE QUIET 1 Thessalonians 4:11And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
    II. TO SHEW ( which also means to speak forth )2 Timothy 2:15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
    So the ministers must be able to seek knowledge in every aspect of spirituality most especially in his calling. Whichever aspect of the five fold ministry he is operating in calls for deep research and study with the help of the Holy Spirit. Asking God for grace to answer any question partaking to his calling and other ministries as well.
  4. MUST NOT BE FASTER THAN THE HOLY SPIRIT.
    Considering Acts 13:2 which says that As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.we must be addicted to strict obedience and submission to the will of the holy ghost . So many edifier are so used to the Holy Spirit to the point that they now go ahead of Him instead of them to wait on Him. They believe or think the Holy Spirit will move in the same way he moved yesterday and then they refuse to ask Him afresh for what they are going to do. The minister who chose to have a purposeful and productive ministry are supposed to be Holy Spirit dependent. Conclusively , when we are edifying we should know is the body of Christ we are edifying, secondly no matter the gift you have been giving by God never misuse it,and edifying God’s kingdom shouldn’t involved using your gift to make other ministers inferior, edifying also is in diverse ways and not only spiritual please let’s be cautious,in everything you do put God first, seek for his direction so as not to derail from the way of God….Let everything done in the place of edification , bringing up new life’s, impacting everlasting property into men , Thank you so much for following through .God bless you real good .

KEEPING YOUR TESTIMONY UNSTAINED.( Zion sisters conference DAY 2 ) Teacher :Alabi Blessing Adetayo.

KEEPING YOUR TESTIMONY UNSTAINED.

Teacher Alabi Blessing Adetayo

Prov.23.24 – The father of the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright, in right standing with God) shall greatly rejoice, and he who becomes the father of a wise child shall have joy in him. The Father only rejoices when we live upright, uncompromising.

Good Evening Household of Faith,
God’s Jewels , and Zion Sisters in the house.
I celebrate every sister in the house tonight,
You are priceless Can we say it to ourselves; “I AM PRICELESS”
Even as go on to the teaching for tonight, I believe our hearts are set to receive from the LORD. I believe we are expectant.
Holy Spirit have your way into each Heart tonight, in Jesus Name
Let your Will alone be done Lord
Take all the Glory alone.
Mend the broken hearts,
Heal the sick,
Cleanse the leper,
Tonight, Lord do what you alone can do in our lives I pray, in Jesus Mighty Name Amen.

The topic for tonight’s meeting is tagged; keeping Your Testimony Unstain

The fact that you and I are sisters in the kingdom, daughters of God. God cherishes us as a jewel. He is willing to build us up, that we may be well valued, virtuous and vibrant for His Glory. He wants to showcase His Glory and beauty through us; of His holiness, His purity, of His faithfulness, His love and many more.

It gladdens the heart of the Father when He sees His precious Princess representing Him so well in the society before the people. He wants to gladly testify about us by saying; this is my beloved daughter in whom I’m well please.
Prov.23.24 – The father of the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright, in right standing with God) shall greatly rejoice, and he who becomes the father of a wise child shall have joy in him. The Father only rejoices when we live upright, uncompromising.
But it’s quite painful that many so called sisters in the church today defile their testimony, so many testimonies of many sisters has been polluted with immorality. It was spoken well of Mary a virgin, that _she’s blessed among women, full of Grace and that the Lord is with her. What is Heaven saying about us?

Testimony is what is witnessed, recorded about a person, a thing or an event, it can be either good or bad record, that is witnessed and confirmed to be true. There are true and false testimonies, it is only God that have the true record of a man, men can give false report, and the devil can paint false picture. No one knew Esther before but she picked to be a queen. No one knew Mary earlier on, but she received and births our Savior Jesus Christ. If they had messed up before their time, the Testimony would have been stained.
My dear sisters, God is building a great future for us, do not let us mess it up with few enjoyment or bad lifestyle. God is painting an unusual picture of how our tomorrow would look like. Do not let us spoil it with our today. Your yesterday, today and tomorrow is patterned by God, who you would marry, where you would go, your ministry and all. You just have to align to in orderly in obedience and by the help of the Holy Spirit. Because it is not by power nor by might. But by the Spirit of God.

Your testimony is not about the ones you share on Sunday in the church about your new house and car, it is what your life writes about you. Are we really conscious of what our life writes about us? This applies to everyone. Your testimony is your life script. Everyone has it.

The way you live your life now is what will becomes a testimony about you later on. For example, a Christian sister who is being known as a true daughter of God, both in church, at home, in school being vibrant for the kingdom work and loved, cherished by God. And everyone trusted her to be pure that she don’t engage herself with bad friends nor defiled by any man, if at all it turns out that this same sister get into the sin of fornication with a man or eventually gets pregnant,

WATCH THIS;

she had stained her testimony,
she had disappointed those who looks up to her,
and have hurt the heart of God.
This might tamper with the agenda of God for her, and can even open the possibilities of her being replaced by another if care is not taken.

You see that it goes beyond the sin, there’s more to it. It is a bargain; the devil will close your eyes to those consequences, and make sure you see the moment pleasure. And ignorantly, you are signing the agreement documents to defile your long year pure testimony that has earned the trust of many in your generation.

Be conscious of what will be testified of you on the last day, will it be; “well done my good and faithful servant” or the the other way round. It is only those *who are genuinely Born again and keeps their testimony pure till the end that their names would be found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. We are surrounded by clouds of witnesses don’t forget, who are watching us as we run our race. (Heb.12:1)(This applies to all believers, not sisters alone).

I pray we won’t miss it at His coming in Jesus Name, Amen.

God require us to keep our testimony unstained that He might vouch that we are indeed His daughters and can be able to present us to the world in beauty of holiness and purity, as an example to them.Jesus kept His testimony pure, that is why the gospel is still potent and filled with power to save and so also His Name. This is the best example for us all. As a believer, we are read by the world as an epistle, people reads us, they read our lives, the way we nag they read it, we way we quarrel as Christians they sees it, people notices our character, some don’t even want you to preach to them they wants to see it in your lifestyle, the way you live your life mean a lot.

It should be a testimony of a life of purity which is still the standard; it should prove to the world that God grace still exists, and draw men to serve Him. Your life, my life should express God’s love to all.

MATRIARCH OF FAITH IN THE BIBLE WHO DO NOT DEFILE THEIR TESTIMONY;

  • Mary; As I’ve said earlier, she wouldn’t have been able to birth our Saviour Jesus Christ if she had defiled herself and found not to be a virgin, another would have taken her office. She was the chosen one and was able to fulfill the mandate as planned and she remains a point of reference forever. My beloved Sisters of Zion, we are the chosen ones in the kingdom to showcase how big God is to the world. The position he has placed us let us stick to it, no matter what. But we need to ask ourselves, Can our lives be emulated? And can God trust us with His visions and it will not be polluted? You and I have been given a vision to birth in our generation; note that a little mistake can counter the whole plan if she was not careful. Dear sisters, those little mistakes/sins are foxes that spoils the vine (see; Song of Solomon 2:15), those white lies, gossiping, quarrelling, malice, indecent way of dressing, pride, immorality in any manner, we need to get rid of those weights now before it rids us of our future. As a sister we need to be mindful of the way we live, Christ is our standard for living. And because the journey we are embarking on is a journey of Faith, we live by Faith. Another good example is.
  • Deborah:The three in one woman, who kept a good record for herself and till date we still make reference to her, it is not recorded that she was rebellious to her husband nor to God’s command nor to the people. We ought to know that no matter where God place us or how high it is, he did not place us above our husband, he is the head and should be given the due honor, if we don’t know this before we get married we will find it difficult to submit to them as our head and it is God’s commands that we submit to our husbands. A rebel wife being a gospel singer or a prophetess or a good preacher of the word is not acceptable by God, no matter what she does in and for the kingdom, she will still be seen as a rebel. That’s a stain on her testimony. I wouldn’t forget to show us few characters in the Bible of those whose testimony were unfortunately defiled.
  • Dinah, the only daughter of Jacob. Gen.34
    What a beautiful lady she might be, cherished as the only daughter in the house. Loved by her father and brothers. The day she decided to go out to see the daughters of the land that was the day she was defiled, her Destiny got shattered by one defilement, this is very painful, because she had no chance to gather back her pieces and turn a new leave. She was wasted by a strange man because she exposed herself to see strange ladies. God was serious when He said in 2 Cor. 6:14-21 that we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers this is what it can turn out to be. Darkness is a pollution to us, our lives needs to be full of Light.
  • In conclusion , for tonight’s teaching…People may say wrong things about you and misquote you, as far as you are of God, He truly knows who you are, you don’t live to please any man, you should only live to please God. He sees your labor and how you strive to be pure in all things and always avoiding anything evil, even if you have made some mistakes in the past and fallen, He is willing to raise you up again and to keep your feet from falling. Men will be envious and jealous of your good reports and the way you are vibrant for God, and would desire to see you fall and shattered, but God will defend your cause, for He sees how you desire to please Him, He loves you and He is watching over you because you are the apple of His eyes… No matter how the devil tries to paint wrong pictures about you hoping to make you look like it, the Lord will not let that be your portion only remain in Him and abide in His word.

Finally!

Live by the dictates of the Holy Spirit!
Be modest!
Flee from fornication!
Walk as children of Light!
Live by Faith!

DEVELOPING YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.Teacher Silver Oladejo Temitope( Zion sisters conference ). IGO

TOPIC: DEVELOPING YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

Teacher Silver Oladejo Temitope

Text; Philippians 3-10.

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am happy to be part of us this night. I pray may the Lord do what He has in mind for us this night.
Lord Jesus, speak your word to us, let there be understanding. Make us doer of your word. In Jesus mighty name we prayed. Amen.

RELATIONSHIP:

Can simply be define as the way in which two or more people or groups regard and behave towards each other. How can we then develop our relationship with God? Looking at our today’s text, Philippians 3-10…. That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death….Firstly, before you think of developing a relationship with someone, you have to at least know the person.. Building your relationship with God who is known as Elohim is to known the person of

1; God the Father is
2; God the son who is Jesus and
3;God the Holy Spirit our comforter and teacher.

In summary, the one person operating in three ways is our father and He wants us to realize that and relate with Him as such. Tonight, I’ll like to reveal to us what I called. The Three Stages Of Relationship.

THREE STAGES OF RELATIONSHIP

1.Servant Relationship

2.Friendship relationship.

3.Son-ship relationship.

SERVANT RELATIONSHIP.
John 13:13.ye call me Master and Lord and ye say well, for so I am.and John 15;15 too Some are in servant stage while some are in friendship stage. The Bible says for the servant know not what his Lord Doeth.

As a son and daughter of Zion, we can’t afford to remain in these two stages but press further to the son-ship stage

I Move to the third stage which is Son-ship relationship because this is where you'll enjoy your father .Rom. 8:14, Gal. 4:6, Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God..

three areas of operations as a son

1. PRAYER :

When you are praying, ensure your hands and heart are pure. As a son that you’re, you must understand that whatever challenges you’re faced with it’s under the feet of the Almighty God. You must not allow your problem dictate your prayer points. But let Holy Spirit inspire you.

Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. [2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. So, gradually develop from being a servant to a friend and a son is better…

2.PRAISES.

As a son and daughter of the most high, you can’t afford to sing crowd motivated songs. Allow Holy spirit to validate whatever you want to sing.

3.WORD.

Looking at Joshua 1:8This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shall make thy way prosperous, and then thou shall have good success.

As a son, any time you’re meditating on the word of God, the first thing that should come to you mind is PROSPER…Word of God makes you prosper, you want to make it in life, check the word you want to live long check the word. The physical gift received from God is the word it contains answers to whatever questions in life. Check the word. You’ve got it. And to be prospered means, to know the purpose of your existence and fulfilled.
In this life, you can go to school, get good job, get wife, children, cars and houses…. You’re successful anyways. But to make good success is to discover your purpose, fulfilled and make Heaven. For directions, check the word. For instructions, check the word. Keep checking. The reason why you need to develop your relationship with God is to make good success.Consider a father who has servants and friends also a son. He works day and night and invests not because of his servants or friends but because of his son.

God is the father and you’re the son. He wants to talk to you as father to son, draw near, He wants best relationship with you, develop it. Benefits of being a son…They are many, you can keep mentioning. You have access to God the Father. You’re a free person because the son of God has made you free. There’s no condemnation. Who dares condemned you ? No one because you’re the son of the most High.Daughters and sons in the house…Understand whom you’re take your place and enjoy the father’s love. Thank you all for having me once again.

The grace to develop our relationship with God is released tangibly to us in Jesus name. Amen.

Thank you very much for reading

BIBLE REFERENC

LET US PRAY
FATHER WE THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE IN OUR LIFE FROM BIRTH , OUR DEAR GOD WE KNOW THAT YOU HAVE A GREAT PLAN FOR EVERY ONE OF US , AND WE ASK THAT YOU WILL FULFILL ALL THAT YOU HAVE WRITTEN CONCERNING US ,
TECH US TONIGHT ,AND HELP US TO UNDERSTAND YOUR WORD
IN JESUS NAME WE PRAY
As we continue in this series of Grace …
We are moving form the the knowledge of what grace is as seen in the first week to the moral power we can derive from the grace of God and this week to another hight of what grace has the capacity to do in our lives

B/ref ; Romans 8:28-30 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.“`
Please read the Bible verses with close interest

BUT TO WHAT END IS OUR SALVATION EXPERIENCE

AS WE THINK OF GODS GRACE which has called us into salvation which is the key purpose of God towards man that we should be saved
It’s also imports that even before we accepted his offer to save us , he know that we will come over to him , he knew all things as an all knowing God , just as he knew you’ll be reading this: In view of this , His mind for is that we now conform to his own image which is the core of what we want to deal with tonight
I know you have had about the word sanctification

many don’t really know what it means and so they are either skeptical or un concerned but , _I need you to know that for every journey started with God in Christ Jesus ,this it future of that journey That we become sanctified , or in other words consecrated to God_If you are not seeing your journey in christ from this angle there is a need to pray and pay close attention to the words of Jesus: Because If Christ will multiply the five loaves of bread and two fish to feed the multitude , his essence is to see that they come to him and be in his image
From our lead TEXT in “`Romans 8:29-30
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.``` That his provision, protection ,healing , health over your life is a sign to get closer to the father so you can have the image of his son Jesus christ

Listen to this
THE WAY UP IS DOWN SOMETIMES

_*Do you know that’s sometimes his permition to the devil to affllict us at times is that we can run to him / stay more with him with the purpose of conforming to his image This is the only reason we can boast of Job today as a core example or real image of love toward the Father He said somthing striking in the book of job Job 13:15Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him…This is the picture of a sanctified heart , a consecreated mind…Hallelujah …Paul wrote a letter to the church is tessalonaica that
“It is God’s will that you should be sanctified.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:3a (NIV)

SANCTIFICATION BY BIBLICAL DEFINIFTION ;

In the Bible, to sanctify something means to set it apart for special use by God. Likewise, to sanctify a person means the same thing – to make them set apart for special use by God.“`The fact is that God has a plan for each of our lives. We have been saved to serve God’s purpose.
The secret to our seeing God’s purpose for our lives fulfilled is our willingness to be sanctified, set apart for His use. The process of sanctification has to do with our becoming more and more like Jesus in our daily lives, as Paul makes clear in our text.
Praise God!!!
There are two thoughts that Paul shares with us about how God’s grace works in our lives to make us more like Jesus, and thus set apart to be used for His purpose.: Are we ready for this ??I pray for your heart that you’ll get this picture once and fore all Because if it sinks to our heart we will be changed forever*

1;BEING IN THE IMAGE OF CHRIST IS OUR ETERNAL DESTINY

  • vs. 29-30From the beginning, God’s plan has been to make us like Jesus. This is our destiny. God announced this intention at creation.”Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness.'” – Genesis 1:26a (NIV) In all of creation, only human beings, are made “in God’s image.” This is a great privilege and gives us dignity. Being made in God’s image means that man is a spiritual being. Like God, man thinks, feels, and chooses. When man was walking with God before the entrance of sin into this world, he was spiritually alive, and instructed by God as to how to think clearly, feel appropriately, and choose correctly. But with the entrance of sin into this world, the image of God in man became corrupted.
    Man became spiritually dead, which meant that without God’s guidance in his life, his thoughts became inappropriate, as did his feelings and choices. The image of God in man was corrupted.
    this is the exert reason we are called to sanctification exprerence so we can once again appear to men in his image
    This is the same reason God came to rescue us in Christ.* He came on a mission to restore the full image we have lost. What does the full “image and likeness” of God look like? It looks like Jesus Christ! The Bible says Jesus is “the image of God” (2 Corinthians 4:4); “the visible image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15); & “the exact representation of his being”(Hebrews 1:3).
    Paul says being like Jesus is the eternal destiny of everyone who has placed their faith in Christ. When we are saved by the grace of God, we are brought to spiritual life and God begins the work of making us like Jesus in our spirit ….And that work of making us like Jesus will be COMPLETED the day Christ returns, when we will receive our glorified, resurrection body. Before that, every believer who dies, upon entering the Lord’s presence, is made to be like Christ in our thinking, our affections and our choices._
    John the beloved has this to say to you from his writing to the church_”Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.” – 1 John 3:2 (NIV)

2: IDENTIFYING WITH THE IMAGE OF THE NEW FAMILY ;

Let this thought encourage you in your long journey home. God has determined to make you like Jesus. Because you are his child, you will one day be like his Son.
That family resemblance, which is today so faint as to sometimes be almost invisible, will in that happy day be so clear that no one in the universe could miss it.
Think of it! All the sin and evil and inner turmoil, all the memories that keep us chained to the past, in one shining moment the burden is lifted, the chains are broken, and we are set free. Lust gone forever,At sanctification , all Anger and bitterness finally banished. Pride removed.* Greed replaced by love. Sorrow gives way to joy. Addictions gone, their place taken by a fervent love for God, Hurtful memories healed. The fires of worldly ambition replaced with holy zeal for righteousness. At santification,Foul speech gives way to praise. Evil habits extinguished. Violent temper replaced with a gentle spirit,Lying lips now speak the truth.
: And guess what ? 🤔💪
IN THE END ,All that we wanted, all that we dreamed but could never attain, the people we knew we could be and should be, in one shining moment when we see Jesus, it all comes true for us.”
Hallelujah
Summarily
God calls us to live a life of purpose and peace by being set apart to be used by Him in this life as we progress toward Christ-likeness.And for real there is grace for sanctification*

CLOSING PRAYER SEASON

: Can we just invest some time to pray that God will take everything about our life and make it his. Let’s also pray That God will make us that perfect image of his

TOPIC : THE MORAL POWER OF GODS GRACE: by Joshua Oduyoye.

_*TOPIC : THE MORAL POWER OF GODS GRACE*_

GOOD evening to you once again family , I am so glad to have you all join the KOINONIA series of this month , last week Sunday we have being able to see an introductory section of God’s grace as we considered the Topic: THE KNOWLEDGE OF GODS GRACE ,

WE were able to define the  God’s Kind of grace as _*THE  Free and undeserved favour of God.*_ and beyond that of human ,_*IT IS AN UNMERITED DIVINE ASSISTANCE GIVEN to HUMANS for their REGENERATION or SANCTIFICATION which is a Divine assistance in resisting sin.*_

We have also being able to point out key reason _*WHY MEN NEEDS THE GOD KIND OF GRACE, and one of this is that MEN LARKS CAPACITY TO HELP HIMSELF AFTER THE FALL IN THE GARDEN OF THE PRESENCE OF GOD KNOWN AS EDEN*_

_*WE ALSO SAW LAST WEEK THE PLACE OF SOBERNESS AND GENUINE REPENTANCE TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE GOD KIND OF GRACE IN A MANS LIFE*_

For thoes who were able to listen to the audio clips on this series , I am sure they were blessed by it and for us all also who are now a partaker of the summary ,I know for real you have being blessed by one,two ,or more points stated here .

Praise God. _*THIS WEEK , WE WILL MORE MORE STEPS FURTHER INTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF GODS GRACE*_

AND I BELIEVE WE ARE READY FOR THIS LEAP INTO A DEEPER PLACE WITH JESUS CHRIST AS WE JOURNEY INTO OUR ETERNAL DESTINIES IN GOD

Let’s have this Brief prayer section ;

Our eternal Father of our lord Jesus Christ , we thank you for all that you are doing among your people , we know you are set to do more that we can ever ask or think , therefore I pray that you’ll will help us to begin to think like you , see like you , act like you and represent you properly wherever we find ourselves in Jesus name .
Thank you because  I am sure you heard us already ,In Jesus Christ name we pray. AMEN

THE KNOWLEDGE OF GODS GRACE ( PART TWO)

As we move forward with God in this new month series we will be considering the _*TOPIC : THE MORAL POWER OF GODS GRACE*_

*B/Ref:* _Titus 2:11-15_

_11: For the *grace of God that bringeth salvation* hath appeared to all men ,_

12: *Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world:*

_13: *Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing* of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;_

14: *Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.*

“`15: These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.“`

From our study text we must first realize that ,it’s the grace of God that is responsible for our salvation as men

I am laying emphasis on this again because many people Globally are seeking different things to get them saved and this range from personal effort just as Adam did after the fall , trying to cover his shame when he realised he had lost the glory of God upon him to when Moses desired the deliverance of his brothers in Egypt and then killed another for this sake , and much more and much more from the new testament as thoes who were disciples of Jesus Christ turned aside to fish when it seems like there was no way ….BUT GRACE THROUGH FAITH IN GOD  WILL ALWAYS MAKE A WAY

Today as we consider the MORAL POWER OF GODS GRACE ,IT HAS TO DO WITH RESHAPING OUR LIFESTYLE AND CHARACTER INTO THE IMAGE OF GOD , Vs12: says this God kind of grace has the capacity to

1: *TEACH:*

*Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts,*

This simply means that when Gods grace is upon you ,you have the ability to deny ungodliness and worldly lust .

*2: HELPS US TO LIVE IN A MORE PERFECT WAY :*

_*we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world:*_

If the kind of grace you posse will not make you or help you achieve the above ,I advice that you go back to Calvary to seek for grace in the name of Jesus Christ.

*3: THIS GRACE BUILD YOUR BLESSED HOPE IN BEING TRANSFORMED TO THAT IMAGE OF CHRIST;*

vs
_13: says *Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing* of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;_

It’s this grace makes you desire to look more like Jesus Consitently…

At this your focus is heaven bound and this earth pleasure wipes out of your minds eyes .

All that comes to your mind is to look upon the SAVIOUR and be like him daily .

*4: THE GOD KIND OF GRACE REDEEMS US FROM INEQUITY*

*5: PURIFIES US  AND MAKES US SPECIAL*

14: _Who gave himself for us, that he might *REDEEM* us from all iniquity, and *PURIFY* unto himself a *PECULIAR* people, *ZEALOUS* of GOOD works._

The Bible tells us in Luke 2:40
_And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him._

This is what Christ is expecting from every born again Christian. He expects that we begin to grow and wax strong enough in our spirit first to resist the devil and his temptations and then to also be filled with  the Wisdom of Christ that distinguish between the godly and the Ungodly

And this has to reflect in our character Because the product of grace shows in our characters.

Paul to the corintian church in 1 Corinthians 1:4 thanks God for the grace given Because he knew how effective God’s grace will be over the life of the corintian believer and he wrote _*I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;*_

Summarily

today I want you to realise that there is sufficient grace ,so much and enough to help you live in newness of life …

The God kind of like is real and yet available to all who will seek him .I beseech you today just like Paul did in his second epistle to the Corinthian church _*2 Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.*_

_Lastly I say to you : From 2 Corinthians 13:14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ *( that brings you salvation and freedom from sin , addictions, and all wrongs )*,and the love of God, *(that that is distributed in the heart of all Belivers according to the faith in Christ Jesus)* and the communion of the Holy Ghost, *(which is the helper,stand-by ,comforter , and teacher of every one who loves Jesus )* be with you all._  *Amen.*

|| GODS QUESTION ||

|| GODS QUESTION ||

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27”

The Almighty God, creator of heaven and Earth, has asked His children a question that must be answered.

Everyone must come to the point where they can answer this question personally.

Sometimes, because of the challenges, trials, sufferings, and difficulties we go through, we can feel anxious and focus on our circumstances instead of focusing on the Almighty God.

God wants to tell all creation, including His children, that there is absolutely nothing that is too hard for Him.

Jesus Christ came on the scene and said that although with men it is impossible, with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

Dear beloved, no matter what you are going through, never be so carried away that you cannot focus on God.

He can do the impossible for you, and He will do it for you.

Hallelujah!

|| THE WISE BUILDER||

|| THE WISE BUILDER||

“He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. Luke 6:48”

Jesus Christ compared those who do what He says to a wise builder who built his house on the rock. In other words, the foundation of the building determines both the strength and lifespan of the building. Jesus Christ is the rock of ages on which we ought to build our lives. He said if we do His Word, we are wise builders.

The wise builder is ready to face the floods and storms of life – which represent the challenges, trials, and difficulties of life – without being shaken by them.

He is certain that life is not all rosy, and therefore His disciples must come to terms with this and prepare themselves to face life; He is expecting nothing but success from them.

Dear beloved, what foundation are you building your life on?

Build your life on the Holy Scriptures, and you will surely succeed.
